There is a fantastic Auction Image Magnifier tool provided by AuctionPix.co.uk.

Basically you upload your large images (upto 5 images allowed per display) click the 'create button, a preview display and the required HTML is provided for you to display in a your auction, a tool that :

Shows thumbnails of your uploaded images, a mouse over of a thumbnail image changes the larger image, and by placing your mouse on the larger image shown - it magnifies the moveable area selected.
